Malona in the morning

It always astonishes me how much more birdlife there is in the tropics and sub-tropics. Morning bird chatter here is incredibly loud, even discounting the roosters, but who would want to discount roosters?

A local bakery and mini-mart supplied coffee, bread, butter, jam, and juice for our breakfast in the lower (inner) courtyard, and gave me a chance to practice my very minimal Greek: "Good morning ma'am. How are you? Very well thank you. I would like ... " and at that I point I resorted to pointing and smiling.
