Alex the Dog

Our good friend Debra is taking care of our puppy, Alex, while we're out of town. She agreed to do this because her slightly older puppy, Baker, was bored and lonely. Alex is a Golden Retriever, about 30 lbs. Baker is a Great Pyrenees, more like 120 lbs. Debra's emails tell me this:

Everything with Alex is great. He is such a sweet puppy and I think both he and Baker are becoming quite attached. He follows Baker around like his big brother or daddy and Baker’s job seems to be watching out for him. They play and play and play in the yard. They’ve been on two hikes this past week with me and Alex has no problem walking and running a few miles. We finally built a kennel behind the studio and that is where they are if I have to be out for any length of time. Chase is especially fun!

Baker and Alex are quite attached…I think he thinks Alex is his job :)
